Rich Fruit Cake

We supply our traditional rich fruit cake either undecorated or decorated with nuts and cherries in sizes varying from a 7" loaf to 14" round. The loaf cakes are one of our most popular cakes. They make a great everyday cake as they are easy to eat a slice at a time and re-wrap. They also make very attractive gifts and sell very well throughout the summer months. With trade prices from £1.75 and a shelf life of 6 months small shops have little risk in trying these cakes as a new product.

Devon Honey Fruit Cake.

We launched this recipe properly last year in the popular 7" loaf size after a couple of years of trial and error tinkering the recipe. It is a lighter cake than out rich fruit cake in colour and also in taste. Devon Honey is hugely popular and combined with our 'Exmoor Cakes' name it has proved to be a huge seller as a gift for tourists to take home.

The following cakes have been developed for the 2007 summer season. We have spent a lot of time trialling these recipes are are indebted to our long suffering friends who are force fed cake whenever they are passing our kitchens whatever time of day or night.

Ginger Fruit Cake

A new cake for the spring/summer season, made to a new recipe we have been perfecting for the last year. If you liked our rich fruit cake and like ginger this cake will instantly be a favourite. A perfect everyday cake for afternoon tea.

Cherry and Sultana.

Cherry and Sultana cakes are always popular, ours a lovely sweet and rich recipe of our own devising after months of trial and error.

Tropical Fruit Cake

Pineapple, papaya, apricot, raisins, sultanas, currants with a touch of citrus peel are liberally soaked in rum before baking into a fine summer picnic cake.

All the above cakes are now available in 'catering' sizes for tea shops etc, we deliver throughout the South-West weekly, please call us if you would like to give them a try.
